The transfer
Ohrid Airport (OHD) to Ohrid
Ohrid Airport sits about 10 km north of town. The drive is a straight 15 minutes on the lakeside road: the shortest transfer we run, and the one most arrivals book.
The fare is 1,200 den (~€20) per vehicle, not per person. Four passengers with luggage pay once. There is no meter. Pickups from 23:00 to 06:00 add 100 den. Delayed flights do not change the fare.
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a nameplate, tracks the flight number, and takes you to the hotel, apartment or address you give. Pay in denars or euros at the end of the ride.
Where the driver drops you
Door to door at your hotel, apartment or guesthouse in Ohrid town. Give the exact address when you book. Many apartments are listed only by building name, so a phone number for the host helps the driver find you quickly.
Town or Old Town
Ohrid town (the newer streets, the bus station side, and most hotels along the boulevard) is 1,200 den (~€20). The historic Old Town on the hill (Car Samoil, Kosta Abraš, Kaneo, the fortress) is a separate fare of 1,400 den (~€23), because cars cannot enter every lane.
