Ohrid taxi prices: what a ride actually costs
City rides are metered on a fixed published tariff, so you can work the fare out before you get in. Airport runs and long-distance transfers are quoted as a single fixed price per vehicle instead.
Prices are per car, not per person. Four passengers sharing pay once, and luggage is never charged extra.
Where an Ohrid taxi takes you
Around town: the Old Town and Kaneo, the boulevard hotels, Gorica and the Sveti Stefan strip, the bus station, Velestovo and Kosel.
Along the lake: Lagadin, Elshani, Peštani, Gradište beach, Trpejca and Sveti Naum on the eastern shore, and Struga, Kalishta, Radozda and Vevchani on the western side.
Further out: fixed-price transfers to Ohrid Airport, Skopje Airport, Tirana Airport, Bitola, Pogradec and Sveti Naum.
Booking an Ohrid taxi

Night taxis and late arrivals
Between 23:00 and 06:00 the city tariff starts at 100 den instead of 50, and airport transfers add a 100 den night surcharge. Nothing else changes: the per-kilometre rate and the fixed transfer prices stay the same.
Late flights into Ohrid Airport often arrive to an empty rank. A pre-booked car is waiting inside the terminal instead, which is the single most common reason people book ahead.
A taxi in Ohrid runs on a simple published tariff: 50 den to start, 50 den per kilometre, and a 100 den start between 23:00 and 06:00. A short hop across town is around 150–200 den, and the fare is shown before you confirm rather than after you arrive.

Yes. The lake villages and beaches are covered on the meter, so Peštani is about 850 den and Trpejca about 1,250 den from Ohrid town. Sveti Naum is roughly 1,600 den.
