Ohrid Airport (OHD) to Peshtani
Pestani is the largest village on the eastern shore, about 23 km from the airport via Ohrid town: a drive of around 32 minutes.
The fare is 1,800 den (~€29) per vehicle. The road south from Ohrid hugs the lake through Lagadin and Gradiste before Pestani. In July and August it can be slow, so allow a little extra time if you are heading back for a flight.
Your driver meets you in arrivals, tracks the flight, and drops you at the hotel or apartment you name. Pay in denars or euros at the end.
The eastern shore villages
Lagadin, Gradiste, Elshani and Pestani sit in a line along the same road, with Trpejca a little further south. Many properties are set below the road on the lake side, reached by steep steps. Tell us the property name when booking so the driver stops at the right access point.
