Ohrid Airport (OHD) to Ohrid Old Town
The Old Town sits on the hill above the lake, about 11 km from the airport and roughly 18 minutes by car. The fare is 1,400 den (~€23) per vehicle, 200 den more than Ohrid town, because the drop-off is inside the historic streets.
This price covers every street in Varoš: Car Samoil, Kosta Abraš, Ilindenska, Kaneo, Plaošnik and the lanes under Samuel's Fortress. Type the street or hotel into search; Google pins inside the old town use this fare automatically.
The driver waits in arrivals with a nameplate, helps with bags, and takes you as far as cars are allowed. Pay in denars or euros when you arrive.
Where the driver can stop
Several Old Town lanes are pedestrian-only. The driver takes you to the nearest street cars can use (usually on Car Samoil, Kosta Abraš or by Gorna Porta) and helps with bags from there. Give the street name or a Google pin when you book so the drop-off is the right gate.
Kaneo, Plaošnik and the fortress
Kaneo, Plaošnik, St. Sophia and the streets around the fortress are all on this Old Town fare. If your hotel is on the waterfront below the hill, say so when you book: some addresses sit on the town fare instead.
